March is Athletic Training Month - Meet our PLHS Athletic Trainers

March is Athletic Training Month so we took the opportunity to sit down with KWAT to introduce the PLHS Athletic Training Team. Faith Tyler works solely with Watertown High School Arrows Athletics while Jodi DeVaal works with the student-athletes from Clark, Castlewood, Hamlin, and Willow Lake. Iovera uses cold therapy leading up to a knee replacement surgery to reduce the pain level during the procedure and immediately afterward to get people up and moving again as soon as possible - without the use of heavy narcotic pain relievers.

Sarah Taylor, Certified Lactation Consultant from the Prairie Lakes Maternal Child Health (MCH) department speaks with KWAT about the new Prairie Lakes Baby Café that opened on January 7th. 
The Prairie Lakes Baby Café is a free opportunity for new or experienced moms to connect with other area moms for support, encouragement, and education from lactation educators to help in breastfeeding their babies. The Prairie Lakes Baby Café is open every Tuesday from 10 am - 1 pm in the MCH Waiting Area (2nd floor).
