Dr. Gerald Rieber, Orthopedic Surgeon with the Prairie Lakes Orthopedics Clinic, recently sat down with KXLG to discuss knee replacement surgery and the new Iovera technique that has revolutionized this fairly common joint replacement procedure - that people are now electing for at a younger and younger age. Iovera uses cold therapy leading up to a knee replacement surgery to reduce the pain level during the procedure and immediately afterward to get people up and moving again as soon as possible - without the use of heavy narcotic pain relievers.

The Prairie Lakes Baby Café is a free opportunity for new or experienced moms to connect with other area moms for support, encouragement, and education from lactation educators to help in breastfeeding their babies. The Prairie Lakes Baby Café is open every Tuesday from 10 am - 1 pm in the MCH Waiting Area (2nd floor).
